Before we get into the nitty-gritty of how to structure a layout, it’s important to grasp what layout and composition are in the context of UX/UI design.
Layout is how the elements (buttons, images, text, etc.) are arranged on the screen. It’s the roadmap of your interface – deciding where everything goes and how they relate to each other.
Composition is how those elements come together to create a visually pleasing, balanced design. It’s about making sure that all the pieces work in harmony.
Think of layout as the skeleton of your design and composition as the soul. One organizes the content, the other makes sure it feels good to look at.
